WikiHouse Pilot Project, Sheffield

The WikiHouse Pilot project was delivered for our client South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA) to provide 2 modern and durable houses on a site on St Phillip's Road, Sheffield.

WikiHouse is an open-source project for designing and building houses.  It endeavours to simplify the construction of sustainable and resource light dwellings.

Mascot were engaged by SYHA to give early cost advice on various methods of build; masonry, timber frame and any alternatives, we then began to research the WikiHouse method.  We advised on the procurement strategy and then managed completion of the works. 

Mascot managed the costs during the construction period, working closely with SYHA thoughout, ensuring the houses were a quality build and delivered to programme.
