Woolley Moor - Independent Monitoring Services
Mascot Management were appointed by the funder as Independent Monitoring Surveyor for the Woolley Moor residential development near Matlock. The scheme comprised seven new homes, including three affordable properties and four luxury detached houses, along with an access road, underground attenuation, and landscaped communal areas.
Our role included producing an initial due diligence report followed by monthly progress and drawdown reports. We worked closely with the developer to assess the construction programme, financial model, quality benchmarks, insurances, and contractual arrangements.
Mascot ensured that the lender received clear, structured updates in their preferred format, enabling them to track progress and identify potential risks at each stage. We also responded to specific queries to support the lender’s decision-making, providing clarity and confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
Our proactive approach helped ensure transparent communication between all stakeholders and contributed to the successful delivery of the development.
