As a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, Mascot Management ensured this ambitious development was completed to the highest standards — on time and on budget, with a construction value of circa £7 million and a delivery programme of just 12 months.
Officially opened in October 2023, the UK’s first carbon neutral community arena, Canon Medical Arena now stands as the permanent home for the Sheffield Sharks and Sheffield Hatters professional basketball teams. Purpose-built with operational efficiency and modern design at its core, the Canon Medical Arena is a dynamic, multi-use venue capable of hosting everything from elite sporting fixtures and live music events to corporate functions and community gatherings. An integral part of the arena is a state-of-the-art medical diagnostics centre, operated by Living Care, which provides specialist services to both elite athletes and NHS patients alike.
