New Hall and Classrooms
Works comprised of the demolition of the existing hall and link staircase to the adjacent Pre-School Building and the construction of a two storey building with classrooms to the ground floor and a multi purpose hall to the upper floor. Works incorporated all associated circulation and toilet facilities. Some external pavings, a covered play area and an all-weather surface play area completed the scheme.
Works were carried out on the existing school campus, with the school operational for much of the contract period. The Contractor was involved in regular liaison with the school to ensure minimal disruption occurred to the day to day running of the school. The school campus is within a conservation area and materials used in constructing the new facility had to meet the standards required by the conservation area.
