VP12a Construction Management Multi Phase Carboard Box Manufacturing Development
Mascot successfully delivered VP12a, a multi-phase development comprising a 16,000m² cardboard box manufacturing facility, connected via a high-level link bridge to an adjacent factory. The project also included a 2,000m³ attenuation pond and extensive lorry parking infrastructure.
Procured through a Construction Management route, Mascot managed the procurement, administration, and co-ordination of 35 individual construction work packages. Our scope included programme development for construction and equipment installation, and liaison with the design team, package contractors, tenant representatives, and FM Global insurers.
Mascot led the preparation of initial cost plans, tender documentation, contract agreements, and final accounts, along with managing valuations and client reporting.
A critical aspect of the project was aligning with strict equipment installation timelines. First tenant access was achieved just 20 weeks after commencement, with manufacturing operations beginning at week 23.
