The Glass Yard. A new industrial style, two storey commercial development on Sheffield Road, Chesterfield.
The Glass Yard is a two-storey commercial development in Chesterfield, offering 4,750m² (51,100ft²) of mixed-use office and leisure space across 30 flexible units, with associated car parking. The office spaces were designed with an industrial aesthetic, featuring steel portal frames, concrete finishes, cement board walls, and exposed services.
Mascot Management were appointed as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Principal Designer. The construction was delivered via a Construction Management route, with our sister company, Build Management acting as the Construction Manager.
We managed the design team, administered all 13 trade packages, and produced a fully co-ordinated master programme. Each package was competitively tendered to ensure best value.
The project was part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the JESSICA Programme. Mascot ensured full compliance with OJEU and ERDF public procurement requirements, providing detailed tender and cost reporting throughout.
