Replacement and upgrade of two 3G sports pitches
Mascot Management were appointed as Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors by our client Sheffield Hallam University, to manage the project to replace and upgrade existing sports facilities, including the replacement of two existing artificial grass sports pitches.
The new 3G pitches would provide state of the art facilities to host a range of international standard sporting activities including football, rugby and American football. The works were undertaken as part of the University's ongoing maintenance plan to create a sustainable and flexible campus to achieve their ambition to become the worlds leading applied university.
Mascot Management took on the role as Contract Administrator under NEC form of contract. Timely completion of this significant project was achieved in line with the Client's programme. The new pitches were opened in time for the start of the football season.
