Mascot have delivered the AMRC Factory 2050 COMPASS facility on time, on budget and with zero accidents.
After 19 months on site, we have successfully handed over the advanced manufacturing Factory 2050 COMPASS building. Mascot Management delivered the Principal Contractor role for the AMRC COMPASS facility, completing the construction, fit‑out and safe handover on time, on budget and with zero accidents or incidents.
The successful project has established a production‑scale hub for automated composite manufacturing and demonstrated our ability to co-ordinate complex equipment installations, manage abnormal logistics and deliver factory‑grade commissioning. Our remit covered full Principal Contractor duties including contract and programme management with defined milestones and integrated supply‑chain schedules, procurement and subcontractor oversight, staged quality assurance with formal hold points and a structured snagging regime, and specialist services co-ordination to meet high-power, compressed‑air, and other utility demands.
Mascot delivered a secure and fully co-ordinated site mobilisation, including temporary works, abnormal‑load route plans, detailed lift planning, banksman control, and specialist crane operations for oversized deliveries. Commissioning was completed through factory and site acceptance testing, supported by calibration records, and witnessed test reports.
As Principal Contractor under CDM, Mascot maintained the health and safety file and implemented a robust behavioural‑safety programme with inductions, toolbox talks, permit-to‑work controls, specialist training, dynamic risk assessments, a live risk register, and active near‑miss reporting which collectively achieved a zero‑incident outcome. A structured handover pack and operator training enabled seamless operational readiness and accelerated production ramp-up.
The COMPASS delivery validates our repeatable capability in Industrial, Logistics and Factory fit‑outs to manage specialist utilities, complex installations and abnormal logistics while ensuring compliance, safety, and predictable commercial outcomes.
