Refurbishment of The Brewery, Sheffield

Mascot Management have been appointed as Project Manager, Cost Consultant and CDMC for the refurbishment of The Brewery.

Riverside Exchange is a former Whitbread brewery on a 9 acre site with frontage to the River Don, easy access to the inner ring road and adjacent the commercial heart of the city centre and new County Courts, within the West Bar development triangle.

The site was subsequently acquired by Wilson Bowden in 1996 and has been developed in various phases completing in 2008 with the final development of Vulcan House for the UK Border Agency (UKBA). In 2001 the refurbishment of the existing 19th century brewery complex was completed and occupied by the now tenant of Vulcan House.

The project involves the re-instatement of the building back to its original layout (removing partitions and the like installed by the UKBA), internal redecoration and the like together with enhancements to external courtyards and reception areas so that the building can be placed back into the office rental market.

Mascot Management have been appointed as Project Manager, Cost Manager and CDM Coordinator for the project.
