This project comprised the alteration and refurbishment of a 1970's industrial building to provide a cash and carry warehouse of approximately 75,000 sqft floor area.

The construction work involved completely stripping out the building back to the shell and then refitting it including new heating, lighting and sprinkler installations.

We were appointed as Project Managers and Employer´s Agent by JTF. Due to the requirement to be trading prior to Christmas, the construction works were negotiated with a local contractor on the basis of a design and build contract.

The construction works were completed within 13 weeks including new racking installations and commenced trading the following week. The project was completed on programme and within budget. Our services included liaison with the tenant on their specific requirements, advising on contract terms and warranties, administration of the build contract, liaison with fund's surveyor, chairing site meetings and arranging handover.
