DCSF/DIUS New Accommodation Project, Sheffield

The project is to provide new office accommodation for the Departments for Children, Schools and Families and for Innovation, Universities and Skills at an accessible location in Sheffield City Centre.

The key strategic objectives of the project are:

• occupation of the new building in late 2010;
• provision of accommodation which meets the Authority's spatial and quality requirements;
• a BREEAM excellent rating; and
• value for money.

Working with Turner and Townsend, Mascot Management provided the Bid Manager for the project responsible for managing all members of the developer's team and interfaces with the Authority, through all the stages of the Competitive Dialogue process through to Preferred Bidder Stage.
