Brookfields Park, Wath upon Dearne

Mascot Management were appointed on behalf of St Paul's Developments to act as the Employers Agent on a number of Design and Build contracts at a new business park in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham.

Brookfields Park is on the site of the old Manvers Colliery and Phase 1 of the development of the site commenced in May 2006, comprising 3 separate Design and Build Contracts.

The first contract was for the construction of the access road and infrastructure works to the value of £939,605 and was to be completed in 23 weeks.

The second contract was for the construction of a 175,000sqft warehouse with associated office accommodation and external hardstandings, with a contract value of £4.5m, that was to be constructed in 40 weeks.

The final contract that formed Phase 1 was for the construction of a new printworks and associated office accommodation, with a total contract value of £4.2m and an original contract duration of 29 weeks. The building was also to be handed over to the tenant at key dates in order for them to commence their fit out works and installation of the printing presses.
