Parkwood Business Park, Sheffield

Construction of 15 light industrial units and associated infrastructure on a brown-field site near to Sheffield City Centre.

The development site at Parkwood Road occupies some 3.2 acres of brown-field land near to the city centre. Mascot Management were brought to this project to assist the client in developing the site and via the construction management route, building 15 light industrial units, along with access roads, car parking and associated infrastructure.  The area, known locally as Parkwood Springs, is of particular importance to the regeneration of Sheffield and the £3.4m project will go some way in helping to promote businesses and jobs in the area.

Part of the finance for this scheme was obtained through Objective 1 grant funding and Mascot were actively involved in satisfying the 'very good'  BREEAM criteria for this scheme in creating a ‘green´ building and working environment.
