Works flying on Cheshire PFI Extra Care Homes

Mascot Management are undertaking the role of Employers Representative on behalf of Avantage to deliver the £65m PFI Extra Care Housing scheme across 5 sites in Cheshire.

The first sod of grass was turned on the first site at Handforth in November 2007, and works to the further sites at Crewe, Winsford, Ellesmere Port and Middlewich all commenced in early 2008. All of the schemes provides a total of 433 mixed tenure residential apartments for the over 60´s, with on site care facilities as well as a restaurant,gymnasium, village hall, hairdressers and other community facilities. Mascot Management are working on behalf of the appointed consortium for the project, and successfully managed the initial bid management, and design development during the final negotiations up to Financial Close. The main equity partners of Avantage (Cheshire) Ltd are Gleeson Capital Solutions, M & D Housing, and Nationwide Ltd and the building subcontractor is GB Building Solutions. The first scheme is due to complete at Handforth in January 2009, and the other phases are on schedule to complete during 2009, until the final phase is completed at Crewe in July. 2009.
